Sacrifice Bunt
With the LONG rockers inserted, the hitter begins in his/her normal stance. The hitter pivots on the back foot and allows his weight to shift out and over the front foot, that is now pointed at the pitcher. The bat, the hitter's hands and head should be out in front, nearing the front edge of the BASEBALLANCE, where he can sight the barrel. The BASEBALLANCE forces the bunter to the proper position, as it sways forward forcing the head and weight over the front knee.
Lefty Drag
LEFT HANDED DRAG: The BASEBALLANCE can be used to help a left handed drag bunter feel the natural flow of momentum toward the pitcher and down the first base line. Starting in the balanced position, the hitter crosses over with his left foot and forces the board to rock to the front as the bat enters the contact area. Leaving the bat in the contact zone to meet the ball, the hitter feels the BASEBALLANCE propel him toward first base, essentially encouraging him to take the ball with him, as momentum carries him out of the box.
