Pictured is the bottom of the The BASEBALLANCE Unit.
As advertised, the BASEBALLANCE contains TWO sets of rockers.
In this picture both can be seen, but only one set can be used at a time. The “long rockers” which run parallel with the length of the board (often refered to as the Catcher to Pitcher rockers) come off allowing access to the side to side or “dugout to dugout” rockers.
1. The two knobs seen above are loosened (not removed).
2. Once they are both loose, the user pulls or slides the rockers attached to the knobs one inch toward the middle of the board, this releases the long rockers.
3. At this point, the user grabs the long rockers and lifts them straight up and away from the platform.
4. Those rockers are set to the side (see notes below about attaching to “The Infamous Extra Top).
5. With the long rockers removed, you have now gained access to the dugout to dugout rockers.
6. Before flipping over, however, the user must extend those rockers ALL THE WAY to the ENDS of the board to prevent “popping a wheelie”.
7. Once fully extended to ends, the knobs should be retightened and the board is ready to be used “dugout to dugout”.
***To transition back to the long rockers:
8. Loosen the knobs again and slide the end rockers all the way back toward the middle.
9. Set the long rocker set down on top of the platform with the straight edge down.
10. Push the rockers with the knobs back out toward the ends (about one inch) securing the long rockers and retighten the knobs.
The transition back to the long (catcher to pitcher) rockers is complete and “the board” can now be used.
***If you purchased an “Infamous Extra Top” your transition back and forth will only have to take place ONCE and you can use the BASEBALLANCE at two stations at once, doubling the benefits:
Complete steps 1-4 above.
Once the long or catcher to pitcher rockers are removed, set them flat side down on the black side of the extra top. (Note: be sure that all 4 brass pins have been removed from the holes in the extra top.)
With the rockers seated on the Extra Top, insert the brass pins through the squares in the frame of the extra top AND the holes in the side of the Catcher to Pitcher rockers and loop the hatch over the pins.
Once all 4 pins have been inserted and secured, flip the board over and begin use.
**Reminder, before using the dugout to dugout rockers on the other (original) board, be sure to extend the two end rockers ALL the Way to the end of the board to prevent “popping up.”
